Children and youth are valued members of our parish community, not only (as is so often been the case) for their future potential, but for their current gifts.
We welcome children of all ages as participants in our worship. It is wonderful for families to worship together.
They will more likely be engaged if you sit where they can see and hear (towards the front!).
Scribble pads for little Episcopalians and a children’s worship bulletin with activities based on the day’s Scripture readings are available from the ushers for those times when things might be just a little slow for children.
If you prefer, nursery care is available during the education hour and 10:00 am service.
At the time of the offertory children are invited to walk forward to the altar and place financial or food offerings in the red basket.
During the school year, Christian education classes are offered for children and youth. Children and youth also serve as acolytes in worship and are welcome participants in virtually every parish activity and ministry.
