The Reverend Jeremy C. Froyen, OSF

Fr. Jeremy is a graduate of Virginia Teological Seminary (2013-16), and served as the Associate to the Rector at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church in Pembroke Pines, Florida (near Ft. Lauderdale). Prior to entering the priesthood, Fr. Jeremy served in the Army as a combat medic and then went on to serve as a paramedic/firefighter in both the Memphis (Tennessee) Fire Department and the Collier County Emergency Services Department (Naples, Florida).

Fr. Jeremy grew up in Memphis, Tennessee in the Southern Baptist Church. He and his partner, Brave, have been together for 11 years.

A native of Texas, Michael Soto studied organ performance and linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. His primary teachers include Frank Speller and Gerre Hancock in Texas and Vincent Warnier in Paris. In 2011, he was awarded a State Department English Language Fellowship in Tunisia, and while there, he served as organist of the Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul in Tunis. Michael’s musical interests include French organ music of the 20th century and Anglican choral music. He performs throughout the Chicago area as an organist, violist, and pianist, and he is the accompanist of the Grande Prairie Singers.
