Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a five-day
summer program targeted to children ranging in age from three
to eleven. VBS combines Biblical stories with activities and
projects to emphasize fun in learning. Adult volunteers
provide musical accompaniment for songs, and collect, shop
for, and assemble special materials, snacks, and crafts as
needed. They also help supervise crafts, games, or break
times, or help set up tables and chairs. Volunteers should
also plan to attend one or two hour-long, evening planning
meetings in the weeks before the school. |
